“Blondie! Look at that, one pig goes in, two pigs come out!”

Well, I think I’ve more or less decided to grow my hair out a bit now. It’s been very short for a couple of years now and I want it a little longer now I think.

On a whim I decided to go and get it dyed blond last Friday. I was walking past my local hair salon after coming home from work and it was still open and without a second thought I just walked in and said I’d like to dye my hair. Angie and Nicki know me as I go there every few weeks to get my hair cut. I sat down and they asked what colour I’d like and I replied that I wasn’t too sure – either red or blond. At once they both shouted ‘BLOND!’

So there you have it. I had it dyed blond.

It’s been nearly a week now and I’m still unsure as to whether I like it or not.

new running shoes! new running shoes!

Well, I got my new running shoes on Friday.

I really wanted to get another pair of Saucony as my last pair were brilliant

…but I was seduced by Asics.

I did try a pair of Saucony Pro-Grid Triumph running shoes but found the heel to be a little harder than I’m used to. I prefer a cushioned heel to minimise impact on my knees and ankles, although I probably do this at the cost of extra speed – although I’m not racing anyone.

Upon seeing them, NG stated that they looked like something a Cyberman would wear. Ha!
